At the Invitation of Saudi Arabia, the Chairman of the Islamic Summit: OIC Holds an Emergency Meeting to Discuss Measures to Address the Repercussions of the Incident of Burning a Copy of the Mushaf Asherif in Sweden

At the invitation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Chairman of the Islamic Summit in its current session, the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold, next week, at its headquarters in Jeddah, an emergency open-ended meeting of the Executive Committee to discuss measures towards the repercussions of the incident of burning a copy of the Noble Qur’an that took place in Sweden on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss measures against these despicable acts and to express the unified position against the desecration of the Holy Quran.
