OIC Condemns Municipality Headquarters Terrorist Attack in Mogadishu

The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist attack, on 22 January 2023, on the headquarters of a municipality in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, in which many innocents were killed or injured.

OIC Secretary-General, Mr Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed his strong condemnation of this wanton attack, and offered his condolences to the families of the victims and the Government and people of Somalia, and prayed for quick recovery for the injured.

The Secretary-General renewed the OIC’s condemnation of all forms and manifestations of terrorism and reassured of the Organization’s support for the Somali Government in tackling terrorism.
