The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, received Thursday 22 January 2015 in his office, H.E. Lotfi Kaïd, Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the OIC, who presented his letter of credence to the Secretary General.
During the audience, the Tunisian Ambassador conveyed to the Secretary General the sincere greetings and appreciation of the President of the Republic of Tunisia, H.E. Beji Caïd Essebsi. He also expressed satisfaction of Tunisia with the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Secretary General at the head of the OIC General Secretariat, stressing Tunisian continuous support to the OIC.
The OIC Secretary General, for his part, commended the active role of the Republic of Tunisia at the OIC and wished its continuation in support for all aspects of joint Islamic action.
