The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, welcomed the measures taken in implementation of the Roadmap in Egypt after the adoption of the new constitution with an overwhelming majority of the Egyptian people. He stressed the need to continue the transition process in order for Egypt to enter a new chapter in its history. Madani condemned the terrorist acts, which cause huge material and human losses and aim at blocking the democratisation process in Egypt. He called for joining efforts to protect the security and stability of Egypt.
