The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, condemned in the strongest terms the recent wave of terrorist attacks in different parts of Pakistan, targeting civilians and even health workers engaged in fighting Polio. The Secretary General expressed his dismay over the death and injury of dozens of innocent victims as a result of the heinous and unjustifiable acts of terrorism. He expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people and government of Pakistan. He further reiterated the support of the OIC for Pakistan in its fight against terrorism and extremism.
