The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Iyad Ameen Madani, received a number of congratulation letters from Mr. Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mr. Nabil Fahmy, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nasser Judeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs of Jordan, and Dr. Abubakr Al-Qirbi, Minister of Foreign affairs of Yemen. The Ministers conveyed to the OIC Secretary General their wishes for success in his duties at the head of the General Secretariat, reaffirming their support to his efforts and initiatives aimed at promoting joint Islamic solidarity and consolidating the existing relations between their respective countries and the OIC to achieve peace, stability and prosperity in Islamic states.
