OIC Secretary General Receives the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Uganda.

The Secretary General Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu met in audience today, December 25, 2013 with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of Regional Cooperation of the Republic of Uganda Hon. Asuman Kiyingi. Hon. Kiyingi congratulated the Secretary General upon his successful and spectacular completion of his tenure as Secretary General of the OIC and wished him well in his future endeavours noting that the OIC Member States will ever be indebted for his sacrifices and contributions towards their advancement in all spheres. The two sides reviewed issues affecting bilateral relations between the OIC and Uganda including the affairs of Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) which is an affiliated institution of the OIC.
