The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, condemned the terrorist act that took place this morning in Sinai, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and killed and injured a number of Egyptian soldiers. Ihsanoglu offered his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wished the wounded a speedy recovery. The Secretary General reaffirmed the OIC’s principled and unwavering position of condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
