Ambassador of Azerbaijan presents his credentials to the OIC Secretary General as the new Permanent Representative to the OIC

The Secretary General of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu received on 16th December 2012, at his office, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Rasim Rizayev, who presented his letters of Credentials accrediting him as the Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the OIC. The envoy conveyed the appreciation and satisfaction of his country with the leadership of the Secretary General and assured him of Azerbaijan’s full support and cooperation during his assignment. Welcoming the Ambassador, Prof. Ihsanoglu commended the excellent relations between the OIC and Azerbaijan and wished him success in his tour of duty.
