The Secretary General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, will pay a two-day visit to the Sultanate of Brunei, beginning on Friday 30 November 2012, with the aim of promoting Brunei’s role in scaling up the OIC’s political, humanitarian and economic programmes. Ihsanoglu will be received by the Sultan of Brunei, Hassanal Bolkiah, and Brunei’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Mohamed Bolkiah, and will also give a lecture at the University of Brunei.
