In a letter addressed to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh, the OIC Secretary General has conveyed his sincere condolences to the Government and people of Bangladesh as well as to the bereaved family members who lost their beloved ones in a devastating fire accident in a multi-storied garment factory at the outskirts of the capital city Dhaka on 24 November 2012. The Secretary General prayed for the salvation of the departed souls and quick recovery of the injured and expressed his hope that all necessary precautions would be taken to prevent recurrence of such tragic incidents.
