The OIC Secretary General condemns the shocking terrorist attacks in Algiers

The OIC Secretary General Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu expressed his shock and grave concern about the recurrent terrorist attacks in Algeria and condemned in strongest terms the two bomb attacks in Algiers, the capital city targeting the Supreme Court and the UNHCR building, which killed more than 50 people including some UN staff members on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. Prof. Ihsanoglu extended his solidarity and condolences to His Excellency President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the Algerian Government and people of Algeria in particular families of the innocent citizens who lost their lives in the horrific and senseless terrorist attacks. He also extended his deepest sympathy and condolences to the UN Secretary General and to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees for the tragic loss of lives of their staff members.
