The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has today, 28 January 2012, received at his office, H. E. Mr. Mansa Ountana, the new Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Amb. Ountana commended the role of Prof. Ihsanoglu as the Secretary General of the OIC and reiterated his country’s commitment to further strengthen the existing relations between his country and the OIC. The Ambassador also expressed his country’s commitment to provide unwavering support to the Palestinian cause along OIC’s common position. Welcoming the Ambassador, Secretary General Prof. Ihsanoglu referred to the excellent relations between the OIC and Burkina Faso and wished the Ambassador success and assured him of the OIC’s full cooperation during his assignment.
