Ihsanoglu to participate in the Conference on the role of women in Istanbul

Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary-General of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation, will take part Wednesday, December 21, 2011 in the International Conference, (changes in Muslim communities, and the role of women),in Istanbul, which will be opened by Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey, Friday, December 23, 2011.   The Secretary-General will deliver a speech at the opening of the Conference in which he will highlight the efforts undertaken by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation for women in the Islamic world as well as their rights.
