Pledges of Doha Donor’s Conference Fulfilled

Following the successful outcome of the Niger Donor’s Conference hosted by the State of Qatar in Doha, in June 2007, the OIC received the contributions of the following donors: - The Great Socialist People’s Libyan, Arab Jamahiriya: US.$ 250,000 -The Qatar Authority for Charity, Doha: SR 3,083,247 The OIC General Secretariat welcomes this generous gesture, and renews its call to all donors who have not yet fulfilled their pledges to do so as urgently as possible to enable commencement of the programme to alleviate the hardships caused by drought in Niger.
