The Organization of the Islamic Conference has been following with utmost interest the latest developments on the Moroccan-Spanish relations regarding the issue of the two cities Ceuta and Melilla currently under Spanish rule. Consistent with its firm position on this issue, the Organization of the Islamic Conference reaffirms its full support for the Kingdom of Morocco in regaining the two cities, and calls upon the Spanish Government, proceeding from its historical relations with the Muslim world, to work towards the settlement of this issue by diplomatic means.
