The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference, Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu on 31 October 2007, received in audience H.E. Mr. Mohammad Nahavandian, President of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and his accompanying delegation at the OIC General Secretariat. In the meeting both sides reviewed practical aspects and steps for Islamic solidarity in economic field as well as the ways and means of increasing economic links among Islamic countries. President of the ICC briefed the OIC Secretary General on the ICC’s activities in that regard. During the meeting it was also emphasized that with more practical approach and rationalism, the target of increasing economic ties among Islamic countries could be achieved.
