OIC Secretary General addresses message to U.S. Secretary of State on Israeli violations in Al-Quds, and receives response from the U.S. Envoy Mr. Rashad Hussain

Amb. Samir Bakr, The OIC Assistant Secretary General for Palestine Affairs, received in his office at the OIC General Secretariat, Mr. Thomas Daffy, Consul General of the United States in Jeddah, and delivered to him a message from the OIC Secretary General, Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, addressed to U.S. Secretary of State, Mrs. Hillary Clinton, concerning the residence of the late Mufti of Al Quds/Jerusalem, Haj Amine Al Husseini, which Israel has started demolishing with a view to build a new settlement project on its grounds. Amb. Samir Bakr also received from the U.S. Consul General a reply message from U.S. Special Envoy, Mr. Rashad Hussain, addressed to the OIC Secretary General, concerning the excavations carried out by Israel in Al-Quds and the Aqsa Mosque.
