The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu has strongly condemned the latest bomb blast on 31st December 2010 at a military barracks in Abuja, the Nigerian capital. Prof Ihsanoglu deplored the cowardly attack which killed eleven innocent persons and injured score of others, appealed to the authorities to identify the perpetrators of this criminal act of terror and bring them to book. The Secretary General then conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, the government and people of Nigeria and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured.
