In response to the kind invitation addressed by the Chief of the General Staff of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, H.E. Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, to H.E. the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, to deliver a lecture at the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Defence Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), the OIC Secretary-General and the accompanying delegation visited the AFCSC, where he met with Major General Mohammed bin Jadou’ Al-Ruwaili, Commander of the Command and Staff College, Director of the Saudi National Defence University. The OIC Secretary-General also met with the employees of the AFCSC.
During the visit, the Secretary-General gave an introductory speech about the OIC, and then H.E. the OIC Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs, Ambassador Yousef Al-Dubaie, gave a lecture entitled “Multilateral Diplomacy, the OIC as a Model” in order to enrich the knowledge of students of the academic programs at the College.
The Secretary-General also extended his sincere thanks to H.E. Lieutenant General Fayyad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, Chief of the General Staff, for this generous invitation, and to the employees of the College, notably H.E. Major General Mohammed bin Jadou’ Al-Ruwaili, Commander of the Command and Staff College, Director of the National Defense University, and all his colleagues, for the warm reception, excellent organization and generous hospitality.
