The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the ongoing Israeli crimes throughout the occupied Palestinian territory, the most recent of which was the heinous massacre in the city of Jenin and its refugee camp, on December 14, 2023, which resulted in the killing of 12 martyrs and the injury of others, considering this in the context of open war and the continuing crimes committed by Israel, the occupying power, against the Palestinian people.
The OIC also condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of a mosque in the Jenin refugee camp, desecrating it, and performing Talmudic rituals through its loudspeakers, considering this an extension of the systematic Israeli violations of the sanctity of holy places, especially the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in flagrant violation of international law and international humanitarian law. The OIC renewed its call on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities towards forcing Israel, the occupying power, to stop its brutal military aggression in implementation of the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly, and to hold it accountable for all the serious violations and continuing war crimes it is committing against the Palestinian people, their land and their holy places.
