On 2nd November 2023, H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met with H.E. Mr. Muhammad Saoud Al-Mutairi, Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Jeddah and its permanent representative to the OIC. The meeting was held at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah to discuss the implementation of Resolution No. 9/49-LO, which was issued during the 49th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in March of the same year in Nouakchott, Islamic Republic of Mauritania. The meeting aimed to find the best ways to accelerate the establishment of the Islamic Court of Justice and organize a workshop to that effect.
During the meeting, the State of Kuwait delegation was represented by Minister Plenipotentiary, Mr. Muhammad Rashid Al-Nuaimi, First Secretary, Mr. Turki Melfi Al-Daihani, and Diplomatic Attaché, Mr. Khaled Hamad Al-Mikhil. On the other hand, the OIC General Secretariat was represented by Amb. Dr. Hassan Ali Hassan, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, and Mr. Meshal Ahmed Al-Ahmadi, Professional Officer in the Legal Affairs Department.
