OIC Strongly Condemns the Brutal Israeli Massacre at Al-Ma’amadani Hospital in the Gaza Strip as Organized State Terrorism and a War Crime

Date: 17/10/2023

His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, condemned in the strongest terms the horrifying massacre committed by the Israeli occupation through the bombing of the National Ma’amadani Hospital in the Gaza Strip. This ruthless act resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of Palestinians, including women and children. He considered it a war crime, a crime against humanity, and an organized state terrorism the perpetrators of which should be held accountable and punished.
The Secretary-General held the Israeli occupation accountable for the consequences of its crimes, terrorist practices, and brutal attacks against the Palestinian people, which are inconsistent with all human values and constitute a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. He also renewed his call on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to urgently intervene in order to stop the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip and provide international protection for the Palestinian people.
