OIC Secretary-General Meets with WDO Executive Director

H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met with Dr. Afnan bint Abdullah Al-Shuaibi, Executive Director of the Women Development Organization (WDO) in the OIC Member States.
The discussion focused on the OIC's efforts to empower women and preserve their rights in the Islamic world.
The two sides also talked about the upcoming conference on women in Islam, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Jeddah on November 06-08, 2023.
