H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met on 23 September 2023, with H.E. Georges Rebelo Pinto Chikoti, Secretary-General of the Organization of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) on the sidelines of their participation in the meetings of the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session in New York.
During this meeting, the two sides expressed their desire to strengthen communication and collaboration between their respective organizations on topics of mutual interest and discussed potential areas of cooperation.
