The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the attack that occurred on the Tunisian island of Djerba on the evening of Tuesday, May 9, 2023, which resulted in the death of a number of security personnel and visitors.
The OIC Secretary-General H. E. Hissein Brahim Taha, expressed the OIC's full solidarity with the Republic of Tunisia in its efforts to ensure its security and stability. He commanded the swift move of the Police in dealing with this incident and expressed his sincere condolences to the Tunisian government and the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
