On the occasion of the Palestinian Land Day, which falls on 30 March of each year, and which embodies a juncture for renewing solidarity with the Palestinian people in their defence of their land, history, holy sites, and national identity, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) affirms its standing by the Palestinian people and its absolute support for the just struggle of the Palestinians to restore their legitimate national rights, including their right to establish the independent State of Palestine on the borders of 04 June 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
On this occasion, the OIC also recalls with great reverence the sacrifices of the Palestinian people over decades, and their continued steadfastness in the face of the Israeli occupation policies based on colonial settlement, land confiscation, home demolitions, racial discrimination, ethnic cleansing, forced displacement, and the Judaization of the city of Al-Quds, and calls, in this regard, on the International actors to assume their responsibilities towards putting an end to the policies of the Israeli colonial occupation against the Palestinian people, their land and their holy sites.
