The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the drone attack by the Houthi militia on Qana Port in Shabwa Province, Yemen.
The General Secretariat denounced attacks on civilian and critical targets in the Republic of Yemen, even as it warned against their ramifications and called for such attacks to stop. It reiterated the OIC’s position supporting the security and stability of the Republic of Yemen and called for an end to the plight of the Yemeni people.
The OIC General Secretariat also reaffirmed its support for the United Nations and international efforts to extend the truce in Yemen and to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni problem in line with the three terms of reference in order to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for security, peace and stability.
