The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H. E. Hissein Brahim Taha will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation today 23 October 2022.
During the visit, the Secretary-General will hold talks with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and a number of senior Russian officials to discuss different aspects of bilateral cooperation between the OIC and Russia.
The visit which comes within the framework of historical and strategic relations between Russia and the Muslim world, will also examine issues relating to global peace and security.
It is worth noting that, the Russian Federation is an observer member of the OIC.
