On the side-lines of his official visit to the State of Kuwait, on 09 June 2022, the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, met with Mr. Waleed Al-Bahar, Deputy Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (Kuwait Fund).
During this meeting, the OIC Secretary-General praised the role of the Kuwait Fund in advancing development in several regions of the world, especially in the OIC Member States, valued the economic, developmental, and social projects financed by the Fund, and expressed his hope that the Kuwait Fund would expand its fields of activity in those countries, especially those that look forward to attracting investments to complete its development projects.
For his part, Mr. Waleed Al-Bahar appreciated the role of the OIC in various political, economic, social, and humanitarian fields, expressing the Fund's interest in implementing development projects in many OIC Member States.
