The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted a security point on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in North Sinai in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which killed and injured a number of soldiers.
The General Secretariat expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, the government and the people of the Arab Republic of Egypt, imploring Allah, the Almighty to bestow His mercy on them, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
The General Secretariat reiterated the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's full stand and solidarity with the Arab Republic of Egypt and its support for the efforts of the Egyptian government and for the measures it is taking to protect Egypt's security and stability and to eradicate terrorism and extremism.
