The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the terrorist acts perpetrated against a military detachment on Sunday, 24 April 2022, in the North of Burkina Faso, in which about 15 people were killed and others injured.
The OIC Secretary-General, H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved families, the Government and people of Burkina Faso wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
The Secretary-General reaffirmed the OIC's solidarity with Burkina Faso in the fight against terrorism and its support for efforts aimed at eradicating this scourge.
