Secretary-General Receives the new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Niger to the OIC

The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Hissein Brahim Taha, received on 25 April 2022, at the Headquarters of the General Secretariat, Ambassador Ali Dieye, who presented his credentials in his capacity as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Niger to the OIC.

The Secretary-General congratulated the new Permanent Representative and assured him of the cooperation of the General Secretariat in the accomplishment of his mission. He also reiterated his high appreciation of the active role Niger has played in the OIC and in the Joint Islamic Action.

On his part, the Permanent Representative of Niger affirmed his country's unfailing support to the OIC.

The two parties also discussed ways and means of strengthening the relations between the OIC and the Republic of Niger.
