The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has expressed its rejection of the approval of the governments of Serbia and Kosovo to open their embassies in the occupied city of Al-Quds, stressing that this illegal action constitutes a violation of international law and all relevant UN resolutions, especially UN Security Council Resolution 478.
The General Secretariat also called on the governments of Serbia and Kosovo to respect their legal and political obligations under international law and resolutions of international legitimacy, and asked them to adopt positions that support the chances of achieving peace based on the vision of a two-state solution, and not to take any steps that would prejudice the historical, legal and political status of the occupied city of Al-Quds.
