The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, on 21 May 2019, received in his office at the General Secretariat, Mr. Julian Reilly, United Kingdom Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea.
The Secretary General and the Special Envoy exchanged views on the major issues related to the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea, notably cooperation between the OIC and the United Kingdom in Somalia and the ways the two parties could foster the development of African countries, particularly in the Horn of Africa region.
