The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, received at his office on 20 March 2019, Ambassador Mohammad Wali Naeemi, Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the OIC, who was on a farewell visit to the OIC Secretariat.
During the meeting, the Secretary General and his guest had extensive exchange of views on shared issues and expressed their interest to remain engaged in strengthening Afghanistan-OIC relations.
Ambassador Naeemi commended the leadership of the Secretary General and conveyed his sincere thanks to the Secretary General for the support and cooperation he has received from the OIC General Secretariat during his assignment. For his part, the Secretary General expressed his appreciation for the constant efforts by the Afghan Permanent Representative to strengthen bilateral relations between Afghanistan and the OIC and wished him success in his next assignment.
