The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, received, at his office today, 19 December 2018, Ambassador Ridwaan Jadwat, the newly appointed Australian Special Envoy to the OIC and the Australian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the courtesy meeting, the Secretary General and his guest had extensive discussions on various regional and international issues of mutual interest. Amb. Jadwat reiterated the commitment of Australia to work closely with the General Secretariat for shared benefit.
Welcoming the new Special Envoy, the Secretary General emphasized on identifying common issues and working together to strengthen bilateral relations. Dr. Al-Othaimeen assured Amb. Jadwat of OIC’s support and cooperation during his assignment as the Special Envoy of his country to the OIC.
