OIC Supports Four Educational Projects in Uganda, Gambia and Mauritius

H.E. Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has approved assistance for four educational projects in the Republic of Uganda, the Republic of the Gambia and the Republic of Mauritius.

It is noteworthy that these projects are part of the implementation of the resolution issued by the Sixty-Second Session of the Permanent Council of the Islamic Solidarity Fund (ISF) held in February 2018 in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This aid is as an expression of the OIC solidarity with these countries and another manifestation of the ISF efforts to achieve human development, raise the living standards of Muslims in the world, and develop human capacities in the social, economic, educational, cultural, and health fields.
