At the Request of Saudi Arabia, the OIC to Hold a Meeting on the Israeli Racist Law “Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People”

At the request of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold a meeting at the level of Permanent Representatives of the Member States on Wednesday, 5 December 2018, to discuss the Israeli racist basic law known as “Israel as the Nation State of the Jewish People” and its impact on the political and historic rights of the Palestinian people.

The meeting is intended to evolve a unified Islamic stance on this Israeli racist law, which aims to expand and reinforce the Israeli settlement ideology and represents an attempt to legitimize the Occupation policies based on Judaization, ethnic-cleansing, denial of the existence, identity and history of the Palestinian people and of their legitimate rights. It is also a blatant violation of the will and laws of the international community and of the UN Charter and relevant resolutions.
