The Organisation for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the continuing violence in Afghanistan, the latest being the suicide attack on 12 November 2018 of a peaceful demonstration in the capital Kabul where at least 6 people died, with scores of civilians suffering from serious injuries, according to official reports. The OIC reiterated its position in rejecting and denunciating all forms of violent extremism and terrorism.
Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, the OIC Secretary General, conveyed the Muslim Ummah's profound sympathies and condolences to the victims' families as well as to the Government and people of Afghanistan.
