France-OIC bilateral consultations 2018 took place at the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Jeddah on 12 November 2018. The bilateral consultation is held as a continuation of regular annual political exchanges between the OIC and France and it is aimed at strengthening France-OIC relations and coordinate positions on a number of issues of common concern.
During the extensive discussions, both sides exchanged views on a wide range of regional and international political, cultural and human rights issues. The meeting also discussed ways on strengthening bilateral relations between the OIC and France in all areas of mutual interest.
The next round of the annual bilateral consultations will be held in Paris at a mutually convenient time in 2019.
