The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the suicide bombing attack that rocked the Afghan capital Kabul, near main political offices, on Monday 25 December 2017, killing and wounding several civilians.
The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, offered his condolences to the government and people of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, and his wishes for a prompt recovery to the wounded. Denouncing the terrorist attack as a despicable crime, Dr. Al-Othaimeen reaffirmed that the OIC continues to take a firm stance rejecting terrorism in all its forms, standing in unison with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in its combat against terrorism and extremism.
