OIC Strongly Condemns Houthi Militia’s Launch of a Ballistic Missile towards Riyadh

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its strong condemnation of the Houthi militia’s launch of a ballistic missile towards a residential area in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Yousef A. Al Othaimeen, stated that the continued launch of ballistic missiles against the Kingdom gives proof of the Houthi militia’s persistence in their aggressive and criminal designs aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the region as a whole in implementation of a conspiracy targeting the Kingdom, its citizens and residents on its territories.

The Secretary General reiterated the OIC’s support and full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leadership, its Government and its people, in all decisions, steps or procedures the Kingdom may take to safeguard its security and stability. Al Othaimeen commended the Saudi air-defense forces for their vigilance and for their interception of the missile before it fell on the residential areas, thus preventing any losses, with the grace of Allah.
