The Republic of Azerbaijan signed the statute of the Labour Centre of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on 23 November 2017. The signing ceremony took place in Istanbul on the sidelines of the closing sitting of the 33rd Session of the OIC Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC).
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Salim Muslemov, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Ambassador Hameed Operloyeru.
