The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, is set to undertake an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan scheduled for 9 to 11 April 2017.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen is expected to meet with top Pakistani government officials to discuss the bilateral relations between the two sides and review some important regional issues as well as some global challenges confronting the Muslim Ummah. The Secretary General would also meet with the Kashmir officials during the visit.
In the same vein, the Secretary General was briefed on preparations and the programmes of the visit during his meetingtoday, 4 April 2017, at his office, with the Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah, Shehryar Akbar Khan.
