The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen has strongly condemned the deadly terrorist attack that targeted a market in Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany, on Monday, 19thDecember 2016, killing at least 12 people and injuring dozens of others.
The Secretary General described the attack as one of the most heinous and despicable acts that is committed by senselesscriminals. He expressed the solidarity of the OIC with the Government and people of Germany. He also extended his condolences to the families of the victims over this tragedy, and wished the injured a fast recovery.
Dr. Al-Othaimeen further reiterated the principled position of the OIC that vigorously denounces all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all forms and manifestations.
