The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has condemned the terrorist suicide attack that hit at Sawlaban military camp east of Adenprovince in Yemen, claiming the lives of dozens of soldiers and injuring many others.
The OIC Secretary General, Dr Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen, expressed condolences to the bereaved families of the victims and to the government and people of the Republic of Yemen, offering wishes for urgent recovery to the wounded.
Further, he affirmed commitment by the OIC to continue working with the Yemeni government in its fight against violent extremism and terrorism, while underlining the Organization’s firm stance in condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
