OIC Secretary General Receives in Audience the European Union Special Representative for the Horn of Africa

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Iyad Ameen Madani, has on Monday 30st November 2015 received in audience Mr. Alexander Rondos, the European Union Representative for the Horn of Africa. Mr. Rondos was accompanied in the visit by Ambassador Adam Kulack, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other officials from the European Union. Mr. Madani and the EU representatives discussed during the meeting the OIC-EU joint efforts in combating terrorism and violent extremism. The two sides restated their commitment for a better coordination and cooperation in that regards. The Secretary General and his guest also reviewed the bilateral relation between the OIC and the European Union and agreed to remain engaged on mutual issues at various levels.
