The international community commemorates on 25 November the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women who are the most vulnerable segment of society. The Day is an occasion to review all socio-economic and political achievements and the international community’s commitments regarding all forms of violence against women. It is our duty to ensure women’s advancement and to provide them with the needed care, adequate facilities and opportunities. Women should also be given access to the means enabling them to reinforce their foundation, boost their confidence and foster their contribution to society. We must provide women in the Muslim world with the required facilities to develop themselves and become good mothers capable of educating generations and contributing effectively to the overall development of the Ummah.
