The Meeting was attended by Members of IAG including representatives of the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar Alsharif; the President of International Islamic Fiqh Academy (IIFA), the OIC Secretary General; the President of Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB); and representatives of priority countries (Afghanistan, Pakistan and Somalia). It was also attended by representatives of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). The Meeting provided a perfect opportunity for the IAG to review progress in the fight against polio and chart a plan for future activities of the Group.
